Local Healthwatch on the Isle of Wight, in Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton have launched a survey asking local people to share their stories on how accessing health and social care services is working for them during the coronavirus outbreak.

Living with Dementia: Experiences of People with Dementia, Families and Unpaid Carers Report 2018

In October 2017 Healthwatch Isle of Wight staff and volunteers visited ten dementia-focussed community groups across the Island, including all the Alzheimer cafes. People were informed of discussion sessions to be held and were invited to take part.
For those that were unable to take part, they were given the opportunity to share their experiences of local services at the time. In addition, three discussion sessions were held within nursing and residential homes.

Isle of Wight film to be shown at Royal Society of Medicine Conference

An Isle of Wight film produced by Utility Films and Healthwatch Isle of Wight in collaboration with people with a learning disability will be presented at the Royal Society of Medicine Conference on the 20th November.
The film's director David George said 'It was a privilege to work with all those involved in our film "Mate Crime". I was very pleased to be asked to introduce the film at the Royal Society of Medicine, where i hope it
